Great, quick recipe that the whole family loved. I would probably cut some of the brown sugar next time and DEFINITELY employ depression common salt soy sauce. I didn't have enough then I used some regular and information technology was pretty salty. Next fourth dimension I'grand going to try with coconut aminos. I also added some shredded carrots at the end to increment veggie content. Served with steamed rice. This one will go into our rotation!

Since recently coming back from Asia, I've been craving Bibimbap, and then once I saw this beef recipe, I knew I must make information technology. I used this beef mixture in place of the meat in the 'Bibimbap (Korean Rice With Mixed Vegetables)' on this site. This beef mixture was so good and full of flavor. So, when combined with the Bibimbap recipe, a delicious beef and vegetable repast was created. This was then delicious that my husband bragged about it for days. Thanks for such a slap-up recipe!

I didn't have sesame oil, so I just used canola oil. I also didn't have crushed red pepper so I sprinkles in some hot chili pulverisation. I substituted the rice for quinoa for the kids and cauliflower rice for adults. This is a new family favorite!

I had besides most every ingredient (I was missing light-green onions) but it was still very delicious I can't wait to make this again and I'll brand sure I accept green onions. This is at present added to my family unit'south favorite meals to cook.

This is a MUST. Tried it this night for the start time followed the exact instructions and added 1 1/2 tablespoons of Sambal Oelek Chili Paste and it was delicious! Served it over brown rice with peas. Please note, it'southward best to use Low Sodium Soysauce. It has just the amount of salt needed. Definitely calculation to my recipe book.

I was looking for something different to practice with ground beef and was good. Read the other reviews and decided to give this recipe a try and it was wonderful. I use gluten free soy sauce which isn't low sodium. The comments that said information technology was to salty when using regular soy sauce and information technology existence to salty, i decided to cut the soy sauce in half and mix with h2o. The season of this dish was great

I had to use ground ginger and I omitted the cerise pepper flakes but only for my kids' sake. I served mine with broccoli, celery and carrots. I took leftovers to work and everyone in the function was begging for the recipe because it smelled so good. This meal was succulent!

My family gave this 6 thumbs up. Very delicious, though I didn't utilise low sodium Soy sauce (don't accept it) and it was fine. Scooped it over some jasmine rice and oh my my, it went off the plates very rapidly! You lot might want to tone down the spice a chip though if you accept family members that don't like it.

I accept to acknowledge that I eyeballed the quantities when making this for 1 portion, probably using less soy than a strict sectionalisation by 4 would have resulted in. I too cooked the rice forth with the beef once the beef had been browned and seasoned, instead of serving the beef over plain steamed rice. Even with less soy, and reduced-sodium soy at that, plus the added water for the rice, the dish turned out a bit salty for my taste and the other flavors were a bit overpowered (except the sesame). I'grand going to try it again, though, with a bit less soy, because the concept was proficient and I enjoyed the repast in spite of the saltiness. I may also throw in some vegetables, maybe zucchini or yellow squash coins , a handful or ii of spinach or baby greens, or whatever comes to hand. On the whole then, I'd say this is a brand-again with minor variations.

I used full table salt soy sauce because that's what I had and I notwithstanding call back it came out great! Next time I'll try the low sodium. This is addictive. I only added half the sugar and I did actually substitute worcestire sauce for soy according to allrecipes substitution chart. I'm sure information technology would be better with soy. But this was such a fabulous base and new addition to my recipe rotation I had to give five stars. I roasted broccoli and green beans and whatever veggie would do. The green onions were a must. Next time I will effort peppers and cashews.

I followed the recipe except that I was out of fresh ginger root (this is during the Covid-xix shelter at home) and so there was non that zing. I added most ane cup of shredded light-green cabbage and ane/2 loving cup (ane medium) carrot to the meat mixture with the garlic. I served it with the scallion and sesame seed garnish over steamed long grain rice (what I had on manus). Information technology was tasty and I was surprised that it cooked nigh equally quickly every bit the times stated in the recipe. Most online recipes underestimate the prep and cook times just this was pretty much on the mark. Thanks for sharing this as something a picayune different to practise with ground beef.

Delicious and like shooting fish in a barrel recipe the whole family unit enjoyed! I made it with low sodium soya sauce and decreased the carbohydrate slightly - perfection! We ate information technology over rice with slivered carrots and cabbage over pinnacle. I would definitely make it again!

Because I used ground turkey, I added 1T worchester sauce while cooking the meat. I reduced the sugar to 1/4 cup and omitted the green onions equally I didn't accept any on mitt. Succulent!

I did double the sauce a/c I added julienned snowfall peas, shredded carrots, and Bella mushrooms. Topped with scallions and toasted sesame seeds. No changes made. Except I didn't accept green onions. Simply my family all establish it to exist likewise strong. I call up if I cutting all the seasonings in half it would be ameliorate. Just nosotros had it with rice and lettuce to wrap it in. That helped a bit. If I get in again, I volition cut the seasonings in half and we love really flavourful food. But it was a bit overwhelming. I did get more used to it as I ate it simply definitely had to be mixed with other things to make it palatable. Information technology was quick and easy to make.

Super like shooting fish in a barrel and quick. Loved that I could whip this upwards with what I already had at habitation. Would probably also work with some thinly sliced beefiness. Was too salty for my gustation and I was glad I served it family unit mode so I didn't accept a huge serving of information technology on peak of my rice. I would try making this once more and cut back on the soy sauce.

03/28/xix: Made the first time per recipe instructions. Pleasantly surprised I managed to get a dainty Asian blend, given my cautious adjustments on the corporeality of ginger and soy sauce ( for increasing serving size, from 4 to 6 people ). I was also cautious with the basis scarlet pepper corporeality--and got just the right calorie-free osculation of heat. Definitely will make again and experiment with some Asian ingredient additions.

I cannot say enough near this recipe! We loved it! The beef had the flavors you would find in a bulgogi, only, it was super fast to put together and perfect for a weeknight meal. I used jasmine rice instead of chocolate-brown rice because that is what I had in the pantry. Cheers for the fabulous recipe!

I made the recipe as written except I used kokosnoot aminos instead of soy sauce. Served it as directed with the rice but it seemed like it was missing something. Topped information technology with sweet chili sauce and that was the finishing touch it needed. I volition arrive again!

This is a nifty recipe. Very flavorful! I doubled everything and added chopped broccoli, carrots, celery and mushrooms. I likewise had some cabbage in the refrigerator so I shredded it and cooked it for a few minutes in some of the sauce that I spooned off the pinnacle. I layered jasmine rice, cabbage then the beef. Very pretty dish and so tasty! What a great alternative fashion to use ground beef.

Soo tasty! I brand this often. The sauce is perfect, and bc of that I add in vegetables to soak up the sauce, besides (bok Choy or whatever I have on mitt). I also make a spicy mayo to drizzle on top and serve with radishes if I take on manus.

Great recipe! I fabricated some modifications and I think information technology came out great anyhow. Instead of ground beefiness, I used lean ground turkey (7% fat). Because it was so lean I chose not to drain the fat afterwards, which I think was the right decision. I also used a lot more than than 1/4 tsp of crushed red peppers; I sprinkled some in by eye and I'chiliad pretty sure how much I added was more the recipe chosen for. A flake spicy but I think the turkey needed information technology. The dark-green onions at the end were as lovely add-on and I recommend adding equally much as the recipe calls for (I added less because I'm non a huge fan of them in general). I took the advice and served it over brown rice. I retrieve this was easy and used a lot of stuff I already had, so 5 stars easy!

This is basically bulgogi ground beef style, definitely extremely good, put a fried egg and some steamed veggies on top to take it to the next level. I was worried about using full strength soy sauce, I never need to employ low sodium so didn't want to become out of my manner to buy some, it was a petty strong I would probably utilise 1/4 cup normal soy sauce or 1/iv soy 1/four h2o but information technology was however tolerable as is, especially mixed with rice, veggies, and the fried egg. I besides didn't have fresh ginger (subbed 1/4 tsp dried ground) or the green onions so they were omitted. Will have to effort making it to recipe later. Definitely a keeper, dainty change from the usual Italian and Mexican footing beefiness dishes that nosotros mostly accept with ground beef!

This was a hit! Really like shooting fish in a barrel repast. I thought it was a footling flake sweet, but the rest of the family loved it! I cut the soy sauce ( using Tamari) to i/4c. Used coconut sugar as substitute. Didn't have ginger just had some ginger preserves which took intendance of some of the sugar content. Added chopped asparagus and peppers for nutrition and color. This is crawly and my honey gave it 2 thumbs up!!!!!

Had some lean ground beef I didn't know what to do with, then gave this recipe a endeavor. I though it might end up kind of boring, but I was quite incorrect. Tons of flavor. I added chopped onion for the browning stage and it worked out well. Also added some mixed vegetables.
